Funeral services were held Wednesday at Ebenezer ME church for David Jenkins 38 shot and killed last Saturday by his divorced wife Willie Mae Jenkins 28 of 1223A NW 5th avenue. Jenkins a NuWay Studio owner lived behind his store at 939 NW 2nd ave and reportedly argued with his wife during a weekly visit to their home with the children and allowance. Neighbors heard two shots and saw Mrs Jenkins walk to a police precinct with the pistol. She was released eight hours after the killing pending trial. Surviving are three daughters a brother and other relatives. Jenkins was born in British Honduras in 1912 lived in Miami and Tampa and became naturalized. He was twice married.
