Miss Jacquelin Jorona Ed wards daughter of Mr and Mrs Leo Albert became the bride of Dr Kenneth Byron Washington on Sunday evening May 27 at Fisk Memorial Chapel Fisk University. The double ring ceremony was conducted by Rev W J Faulkner with music by Miss Gloria Hatching and Mr Arthur Croley. The altar featured white blossoms and palms and seven branched Georgia u designed candles. The bride wore a white flowered organdy gown with a Peter Pan collar and hand painted sleeves a fine nuptial event amid university life currents.

Teachers Tour Miami Plant On Industry Day
About fifty teachers from Negro schools in Dade county toured the Miami electric generating plant and other local facilities of Florida Power and Light on June 13 as part of Business Industry Education Day sponsored by the Miami Chamber of Commerce. They were divided into four groups, and one image shows a lineman’s shotgun stick used to handle high voltage lines.
