Howard Professors to Attend International Home Economics Congress
Two Howard University Home Economics professors will attend international meetings in Stockholm and Copenhagen. Mrs Lydia Jetton Rogers will represent the American Home Economics Association, and Dr Flemmie P Kittrell will attend the Stockholm congress and the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom in Copenhagen. They depart August 5 for a week in Europe, with plans to visit England and France. Rogers holds an MS from the University of Wisconsin and aims to study textile design houses. Kittrell previously conducted a 1946-47 Liberia nutrition survey under the State Department. American delegates will represent multiple American associations and the U S Office of Education.
