Wellsville Rebekah Lodge members met Tuesday night to prepare for an October 2 assembly in Hermann. Eight members plan to attend. Mrs Roscoe Grant led the business session and the group voted to copy the new state approved bylaws. Also noted were remarks on a vacation trip by MR and MRS E L Harris through Iowa Minnesota Wisconsin and Illinois, with a visit to Allen Cox in Jacksonville Illinois. Centralia Band Parents Meet Plans Fall Activities
About 22 members attended the Centralia Band Parents meeting led by Ron Galloway. Bradley Moore announced chimes purchase and that 6th, 7th, and 6th grade bands will march in the Homecoming parade. A uniform committee was formed and funds approved for instruments, stereo gear, and a street banner. October events include Fiesta Parade at Mexico, Street Marching in Canton, Street & Field Show in Kirksville, and Missouri University Homecoming in Columbia.
