Century old lambrequin at Audrain County museum
A decorative mantel cover, dating to 1869 and made by Mrs. Rosamond Pease Forrest, is the week's feature in the Audrain County Historical Society museums. The blue velvet piece with pale yellow lining and embroidered daisies and pompons remains in perfect condition. Grandchildren of Forrest donated it, and hostesses for Sunday are Mrs. P L Melahn and Mrs. Sars Glasford. The library urges cookbook orders be picked up due to space limits.
