Missouri Show Me: A Bicentennial History on Stage
A Northeast Missouri State University troupe performs Missouri Show Me a one hour panorama of the state's history through art song and dance. Narrator notes the bicentennial aim while Srnka adapts works from Missouri artists and statesmen across twenty decades. The production features ten actors and a narrator, with simple sets that evoke various eras and a moving Civil War sequence concluding with a tribute to the state river.
