Reznicek Named Plant Manager at Green Refractories
James L. Reznicek becomes manager of manufacturing for Green Refractories Mexico effective December 1, per regional manager Carl A. Krinbill. The Mexico plant covers 27 acres and employs about 850 people, directing production, mining, maintenance, quality control, and scheduling. Reznicek joined Green in 1968, led Fulton plant startup and staffing, and previously held roles in operations planning and scheduling across U.S. plants. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from University of Missouri Rolla and serves in community and church leadership roles. He and wife Clydene live at 1301 N. Kentucky with four sons.

Pentagon sources say the Army is nearing a decision to cut back or close nearly a half-dozen major facilities in the United States. The move could eliminate thousands of jobs amid a slumping economy and involve several depots and one arsenal including Ford Arsenal in Philadelphia and Blue Grass Army Depot in Lexington, Ky.

A few bottles may deliver about a year’s worth of lead to a consumer as alcohol corrodes the seal and leads diffuse back through the cork into the wine.

Nixon Knew His Hush Money Guilt from Watergate Tapes
