In a Little Dixie Conference matchup, Community R-6 beat Higbee 103-53 as Randy Hoyt, returning from a cast, scored 18 and sparked a third-quarter burst. Teammates Gerry Albus and Calvin Webber contributed key points while coach Bob Mindlin smiled through the win. Sturgeon girls reached finals with 37-19 over Ashland. Harrisburg boys and Madison girls also advanced.
