Corn Loans For Silo Stored Grain Set At Audrain ASCS
Audrain County ASCS director Mary Bosler says loans are available on corn stored in silos and oxygen limiting structures if measurement is possible and officials can sample, with sampling ports along sidewalls. Loans require eligibility via 1971 Feed Grain Program signup and a rate of $1.10 per bushel. Two local growers, Vince and Fred Fennewald, Martinsburg, receive seed corn yield awards for G hybrids and national Project 200 records aiming to raise yields and profits.

High Moisture Corn Use in Swine Feeds Examined
Agricultural review from Montgomery City notes producers pursue early harvest to cut losses and expand high moisture storage.
