The Little Dixie basketball tournament starts with four first round games in Sturgeon with Madison facing Harrisburg and Ashland meeting Higbee in boys and girls bouts. Harrisburg tops girls seeds with Sturgeon, Ashland, Higbee, while Ashland tops boys seeds with Harrisburg, South Callaway, Community R-4. Also, Dixie 50 NASCAR race in Hampton, Dave Marcis wins by four lengths.
