Archie Will Talk About Politics On New All in the Family
Associated Press reports Archie Bunker will discuss politics as All in the Family starts its new season amid an election year. Director John Rich says the show will advocate character, not positions, with Archie clashing with liberal son-in-law Mike and Gloria gaining a bigger role. Rich notes Gloria may have a part time job to reflect reality and current job markets, while the cast and crew defend the show’s balance between real life and humor.
