The court said five landmark cases last year did not grant juries broad power to ban movies as obscene. It also ruled reporters have no constitutional right to interview inmates in two 5 4 decisions, and refused to extend voting rights to felons with prior sentences in 6 3 decision. The court upheld that a supervisor loses immunity from union discipline when acting as a non supervisory worker. It agreed to hear a case about an Air Force master sergeant accused of delivering classified documents to a Soviet agent in Thailand, after a lower court overturned the conviction as too vague.
