Possible voiding of Villanova season over Porter case
Villanova may have its 1970 71 basketball season erased if the NCAA rules star center Howard Porter signed a professional contract while a collegian. Porter reportedly signed with the Pittsburgh Condors on Dec 16 1970, risking forfeiture of records and any NCAA awards. The university urged the NCAA to allow Porter to clear himself before any action.
