Solar heating cuts costs for Missouri resident
In CROSS TIMBERS Missouri a Mrs. Martha Moore saw propane use drop from 345 gallons in January to about 100 gallons after a $90 solar heating unit was installed by the West Central Missouri Rural Development Corporation. The system uses a painted black tin under glass with circulated air to heat the home, boosting January warmth to 72 degrees for the remainder of winter.
