United Methodist Women Circles Meet at Mexico Church
Three evenings of meetings featured Mundy Bruce and Stallings circles sharing devotions programs and social time. Mundy Circle with 11 members heard The Blessed Boomerang and a Lord’s Prayer program by John Richardson. Bruce Circle discussed Hannibal and Columbia meetings and heard Our Mission. Stallings Circle welcomed 18 members and a guest as they opened with a poem and reported on the UMW conference in Hannibal.

Loyalty Class Meets At First Baptist Church
The Loyalty Class of the First Baptist Church met Tuesday evening with Mrs. WE Curry and Mrs. Robert Martin as hostesses. Mrs. Ted Mayes presided and ten members plus four guests attended. A dish towel from each member was given to the church for the kitchen. Mrs. Sam Oliver led the devotion and spoke on the origin of Father’s Day. The next meeting will be a prayer meeting at the church.
