Bond facing tax and voting questions in Missouri case
Bond’s income taxes on a trust fund from 1964-65 were filed with his federal return in the District of Columbia. He says he voted in Missouri elections except 1960 and elections in 1961, 1962, 1963, and 1985, and has never voted in another state. Witnesses described his intent to return to Mexico to practice law and politics, which he did in 1968, while records in Audrain County note no voting or tax activity before 1997 when he bought a home there.
