Birth control views and reader questions in The Ledger

A mixed page features Dr. Thosteson's stance on birth control methods, noting rising use among American women from 1960 to 1973 and detailing his view that the Pill suits some but not all. It includes reader inquiries on sunlamps, plastic vs regular surgery, nerve injury from a cut, leg cramps guidance, and requests for his booklet, with answers integrated into the column.
