Lemon Moves To Curb Legislators Pension Bruce Lemon seeks restore pension to pre increase level

Audrain County State Representative James Lemon introduces a bill to return legislators pension to 30 dollars per month per term, or 180 dollars for 12 years, arguing voters rejected pension raises. He notes current 37.50 per term, 225 for 12 years, and predicts low odds for passage while commenting on per diem, mileage, and legislative delays. He cites Banks bill to raise per diem to 35 dollars as unlikely, but possible 25 dollars emerges.
