Mexico high school wrestling dominated Rolla 38 12 in the MSC opener as four pins and four decisions boosted the Bulldogs to 3 2. Standout wins included Tom Olson 112 pounds Dennis Olson 119 pounds and Doug Thomas 145 pounds with pins and Tim Wyatt 126 pounds and Wayne Terpstra 155 pounds with decisive or near unbeaten efforts. The junior varsity also swept 32 21, while ninth graders dropped 25 24 but showed promise. The varsity returns at the Rock Bridge Tournament of Champions in Columbia with 16 teams.
