Fulton Hospital Faulted In Rating By Accrediting Body
The Joint Commission criticized Fulton State Hospital and Nevada State Hospital, faulting Fulton mainly on environment and dormitory conditions while noting compliance in treatment. Officials dispute many findings, say wages were paid since 1974 and personal belongings are allowed. Fulton remains accredited pending an appeal. Nevada reportedly lost accreditation months ago due to building issues.
