Billing Change Would Cost MPL Says
Missouri Power & Light Co president David C. Harrison warns a proposed utility billing reform would raise costs for MPL customers by about 205090 dollars annually plus 68260 dollars in initial setup. He argues the changes burden only customers with poor credit and adds 12 new staff would be needed for records and collections, with further costs from delinquent and uncollectible accounts.
