Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Graves of Rush Hill mark their silver wedding anniversary with an open house reception from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Rush Hill Community Center hosted by their children Steve Woolridge Garett Gina and Carey. They were married December 20, 1952 and have spent their married life in the Vandalia and Rush Hill area.
The 1977 Audram Medical Center Auxiliary luncheon featured a $15,000 donation to AMC administrator Woodrow Lee as the first installment of a $50,000 five year pledge for the building project. At James Bledsoe Post 26 American Legion meeting on Monday members voted to sponsor a Junior Legion Baseball Team for 1978. A fish fry to raise funds was announced and New Year’s Eve Dance tickets are on sale. Prize draws listed Billy Norton Ben McAllister William Jy Bomar and Charles Guile, none present to claim.
