Cagers To Meet Jays In Tuesday's Home Game
The Basketball Bulldogs enter week four of the 75 76 season to face two Mid-State Conference teams. Tuesday Mexico hosts Jefferson City Jays with a 6'3" back line led by 61" Gary Gonder and two 6'5" centers Brent Ward and Rick Prosser. Hannibal, the Saturday opponent, is another familiar foe after a two point overtime loss to Mexico at the Holiday.

Bullpups Fall to Oakland in Freshman Girls Open
The Freshman girls basketball teams opened their season Monday night against Oakland Jr. High of Columbia. The A team lost 19 to 17 and the B team fell 27 to 5. Coaches praised effort and noted Oakland fields 7th and 8th graders. Maryles Nunnelly led A with 7 points, followed by Susan Maupin with 4. B scorers included Donna Dillard Jeanne Troy Robin Hord and Sue Ellen Worstell with 2 each.
