At the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia, Greg Walthall of Windsor sold a 1150 pound crossbred steer for 1.16 a pound to 4 Square Market of Marshall while champion Scott Robinson’s 1095 pound crossbred brought 1.00 a pound to Putnam County Feeder and Supply. Eddie Lee’s Hampshire barrow won 1446 dollars at six dollars a pound, and Martha Rasch’s second place Spotted hog earned 984 dollars at four dollars a pound. The champion lamb, a 129 pound Suffolk, sold for 163 dollars to Central Missouri Livestock Auction Co of Mexico.
