Teasdale vetoes special beer bill and other measures
Missouri Governor Joseph Teasdale vetoed a special interest beer measure and eight other bills, bringing his veto total to ten since taking office. He argued the beer bill would create exclusive wholesaler territories and favor certain firms, while criticizing diluting carrier regulation and broader exemptions that would deregulate thousands of trucking and farm-hauler firms.
