Randy Erdel reflects on his sixth year in the 4-H Outdoorsman project at Molino Musketeers. He notes land stewardship, landowner respect, camping basics, balanced meals, gun safety training with the Jaycees Course and NRA program, fishing skills, small craft safety, plus hobbies in horticulture wood working and bicycling.
The Audrain County 4 H Fair features a donated hog to raise funds for the 4 H Foundation which maintains the 4 H Center. Donations tickets cost 50 cents each or five for two dollars with proceeds supporting rental needs and grants. The winning ticket drawn August 9 at the fair.
