Centralia PTA Installs Officers and Plans Exhibit
Centralia PTA met April 22 with Bob Mitchell presiding. Amos Zoellers installed officers for 1974 75. new leaders include George Bunton president and Richard Graham second vice president. The group voted to cut next year’s meetings to five and to host an Art and Craft Exhibit for high school students. A program on metrication was presented by Robert Brunker with the Science Club.

Wellsville-Middletown R-1 hosted a Spring Festival of the Arts in the high school gym turned into a bright gallery. Art 1 and II showcased pencil, acrylic painting, Op Art, collage, and design while Junior High displayed tempera works ceramics and portfolios. The literature display featured April Brings Showers of Eighth Grade Poetry. The Fifth Grade Band performed three numbers and the Sixth Grade Band played eleven pieces with multiple soloists.

Perry will host evangelist Duncan Crockett of Kansas City this Sunday for a Perry Presbyterian Church revival through Wednesday.
