Free Redbuds Spoken For in City Parkway Replanting
About 75 of the 100 free Redbud trees in the first phase of Mexico citys parkway replanting project have been spoken for by residents. Trees will be delivered free to owners who apply in person at City Clerk’s office and plant them along the parkway. The five year program plans to give away at least 100 flowering trees each spring. City manager Neil Nielsen says delivery should begin toward weeks end.
