A Tough Negro. Mob Attacks Man At Calaboose
A mob of about 300 men attacked Sam Wilson in Stephens Arkansas last night tearing through a door of the saloon and tying a rope around his neck. He was dragged from the doorway and hauled off with others standing on his chest as the rope strangled him. He survived but was badly injured.
