Two Soldiers Killed at Fort Douglass Utah

First Sergeant John Jackson was shot and killed by Private W H Carter at Fort Douglass. Carter then died resisting arrest. Both men were members of the Ninth United States Cavalry. Carter killed the sergeant after being ordered to the guardhouse for duty issues. Carter died by suicide.
