Woman Hire Killing Shocks Summit Suburb
Susan Potempa 50 was found battered in her garage after a Thanksgiving game. Authorities say she sought to hire a killer, paid 2100 dollars to 18-year-old Reginald Williams who strangled her on two occasions, finally killing her with a power drill. Williams faces first degree murder charges with $350,000 bond. Neighbors记 recalled her breast cancer pain and attempts to arrange murder through several men. The case hinges on motive and the neighbors’ awareness of her distress.

Hubble repair crew ends nine day space mission earlier return
NASA's Endeavour crew rested after a nine day in space repair of the Hubble Space Telescope. Mission managers moved up Kennedy landing to 10:26 p.m. to beat deteriorating weather and gain an extra orbit. The $1.6 billion telescope launched in 1990 with a flawed mirror and will be evaluated for success once optics are aligned, likely in late January or February.
