The Goldfield Milling and Mining Company held a July 21 1896 meeting at Mesa City Arizona where a majority stockholder presence approved unanimously an amendment to the articles of incorporation changing the name to Goldfield Gold Mining Company. Notary A P Shewman attested the presidents and secretary signatures. County Recorder J W Kincaid certified filing and recording on July 23 1896 in Maricopa County.
