A grand jury is ordered for next Monday. city taxes delinquent December 1. Visitors include Henry Lee from Tonto country, Dunham from Pinal county, Shafer family from upper Gila, and W A Kimball summoned for jury. Civic events include a Rebekah Thanksgiving ball in Tempe and a Santa Fe railroad timetable note.
The public is informed the quarantine has been raised and tri weekly steamers will resume service from the Eastern Seaboard via Algiers and Morgan Line with no further detention.
The Mesa Dramatic Association presents The Miller's Daughter, or Bound in Honor, a four act popular drama in the Social Hall on Monday evening, May 22. The stage is fitted with new scenery and foot lights, promising a rare treat from local talent.
