Death of Wm H Ancell at 54 in Marshall Missouri
Wm H Ancell aged 54 died at his Marshall home on Tuesday July 5 at 1030 PM after a period of poor health. Born October 22 1844 in Cooper county he grew up in Arrow Rock. He served as sergeant major in 71st E M M after enlisting in 1862 and later ran a grocery business and sewing machine dealer in Marshall. Survived by wife Jennie Tucker and two children Linwood E and Bessie Andrews. The community offers sympathy. Pipkin Hanes promotions follow.
