Third Anniversary Meeting in Polk County Park
The Friday and Saturday park fair marked Polk County’s third anniversary celebration with a grand display of products and premiums. Visitors arrived by train as Rogers Citizens' Band played, speeches by J D Kimball and others followed parades, a mock battle, and a large crowd packed the fair. Awards honored agricultural stock and produce, with many floats and exhibits from Mena Ice & Cold Storage, Key & Hayes, Mena Lumber, and local shops.
