Dr James D Kelly died at his Port Arthur Avenue home at noon Saturday after months of ill health from malaria and heart trouble. Born September 16 1860 in Mississippi he moved to Arkansas and later came to Mena. He leaves wife Mary Littlejohn and three sons. funeral was held Sunday from the residence with Knights of Pythias in charge at the cemetery.
