Epidemic of influenza under control in Melfort streets

Acting Mayor F T Jameson announces lifting of the flu ban at 7 am Monday November 25 as the epidemic is reported well in hand. The district still faces a stubborn Genish influenza. Lady Minto Hospital weekly census shows patients, five deaths in emergency and volunteers, schools, and numerous individual donors and helpers listed for hospital aid and provisions.

Epidemic Notes At Lady Minto Hospital

Four volunteers and two nurses are ill or recovering from influenza at Lady Minto Hospital this week. Several patients with Spanish flu and pneumonia are noted as recovering and others are being supported by doctors and staff.
