Acting Mayor F T Jameson announces lifting of the flu ban at 7 am Monday November 25 as the epidemic is reported well in hand. The district still faces a stubborn Genish influenza. Lady Minto Hospital weekly census shows patients, five deaths in emergency and volunteers, schools, and numerous individual donors and helpers listed for hospital aid and provisions.
Four volunteers and two nurses are ill or recovering from influenza at Lady Minto Hospital this week. Several patients with Spanish flu and pneumonia are noted as recovering and others are being supported by doctors and staff.
Wallace ships a car for National Elevator Co. A business visitor to Beatty last week. Jack Green left Tuesday for Winnipeg with a sick child report. Pleasantdale widow receives letter from France detailing the death of Private Robt Hay Ball on September 28 1816 in the southern edge of Barlow Wood. He died after leading a reconnoitre with the O C battery. the letter conveys sympathy and declares he did his duty nobly. Also announced is the second annual Good Fair and Poultry Exhibit by the Melfort Agricultural Society in Saskatchewan at the town hall on Thursday December? Lith.
The Pathlow Red Cross Society notes postpone of its annual meeting due to prevailing conditions. It lists receipts including member fees raffles donations and a generous list of donors and gifts, thanking workers for their efforts and contributions to overseas relief drives.
The eleventh regular Weldon council meeting in Kinistino discusses opposing provincial changes to the Animals Act, proposing local stock bylaw controls, appointing returning and deputy returning officers for municipal elections, nominating at Purdy's hall, and approving listed bills. The next meeting is set for December 10.

Lobb describes heavy wind grounded flights at an English camp, his shift from light to heavier aircraft, and a focus on instruction rather than front-line service. He notes Canadian air forces, aims to reach front training, and recalls childhood memories tied to castor oil fumes from engines.

Also noted are the funerals of Mrs Drummond Mrs Lillian Henderson Arthur Foster and others who died of Spanish influenza with Rev W R Tanton and Rev Barnes presiding. The community mourns the loss of several individuals including H H Burroughs who left a husband seven children and a young age of thirty.
Short courses of instruction on internal combustion engines including automobiles to be held under the direction of the department of agricultural extension at the College of Agriculture Saskatoon. Sessions run December 2 to 21, 1918 and February 3 to 22, 1919.
