Red Cross meeting plans drive for Star City funds
In Red Cross rooms on Tuesday May 21 a meeting discussed raising 1600 for the Provincial campaign to June 19 to 22. A house to house canvass and a bazaar sale on June 22 were proposed to gather donations. Hostesses May 25 included Mesdames Wayne Nixon Flemming and Misses Mary Beatrice Gilliland. Proceeds from the May 25 event totaled 19.60.
