Lost Fort William cook missing after fishing trip

George Lake, a cook at a Patterson and Fells construction camp near Fort William, vanished while fishing on Sunday. A large camp search yielded no trace by Monday night and a city search may be organized. The wooded area raises difficulty, recalling a past hunting incident where a G T P operator had both feet amputated after freezing.

Alberta Hussars Sail To Calgary For District Camp

Bad Check Artist Sentenced to Two Years in Edmonton

He will be taken to Calgary tonight for two more similar charges and faces deportation to the United States after his term. Three Die in Philadelphia Electric Storm Ravages City

An electric storm hits Philadelphia and nearby towns killing three men and injuring several. In Allentown a cyclonic wind knocked down wires and damaged a friar house, fatally shocking Asa vid Gackenbach age 30 and Hannibal J. Dotterer age 24 who touched metal. John Wagmer 40 died while attempting a rescue. Carry Allender was badly shocked.
