A British 130 metre nuclear powered submarine struck the 17 metre fishing vessel Proud Mary near Port Canaveral injuring four aboard the boat. The collision occurred about 9 30 p m Sunday as a diving fin cut into the Proud Marys hull, leaving a four by two metre gash. An unidentified Proud Mary crew member is hospitalized with a broken kneecap while the others receive treatment for cuts.
