A family reunion at the Jake Kuiken home drew a large crowd Tuesday evening. A well laden Christmas tree sparkled with toys for the children as music and violin solos filled the event. A luncheon followed before guests departed with wishes for a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Gradus Brink 74 Dies at Hancock Minnesota
Gradus Brink aged 74 died at his daughter’s home in Hancock Minnesota after living in Maurice and Minnesota with his family. He born in Holland came to America with parents and worked on farms before retirement nineteen years ago. Survived by four sons Henry Albert Wim Neil and daughter Mrs Geo Pietens and many relatives. Funeral held at First Reformed church Maurice conducted by Rev Vanderheek. Burial followed in Maurice cemetery with large procession of friends and relatives.
