Farewell reception for missionaries in first Reformed Church
A large crowd attended a farewell reception for Rev. and Mrs. G. D. B. Van Peursem and other missionaries at the First Reformed Church. Despite heavy rain, friends gathered to hear speeches and sing, bidding them Godspeed as they depart for mission work in Muscat Arabia.

Youth from Lake Gkabuti Receives Medical Care
Howard Weis, son of J. Weis, was brought from Lake Gkabuti by his aunt Mrs. VanderWicken and is now at a hotel under a doctor’s care.
