Matrimonial Wanderings and Early American Conventions in Prose
A reflective piece mocks wedding travel and wedding finery with a digressive tale of couples riding off after marriage to seek luxury and novelty. It also includes a dialogue from conversations about the American Revolution describing the 1774 Philadelphia Congress, its delegates, procedures, and early acts.
