Local seniors gain affordable meals through Great Plates program
For three months seniors 60 and older in the South Suburbs used the Great Plates Program run by the Markham CNN at Saravan's in Midlothian. Coupons cost 3 dollars, cover two weeks, and meals on a 6.50 dollar menu. Funding and future operation depend on the Area Agency on Aging and CNN budget decisions.
