Bribery scheme charges against XL Disposal owners
U S Attorney accuses Edward and Robert Pruim of paying more than 150000 in bribes to Chicago Streets foreman Thomas O Connor from 1989 through 1990. O Connor aided the Pruims in city contracting while using a sham real estate transfer and funding trips including a Disney World visit. Arraignment set for Oct 1. penalties could reach 25 years and 1.25 million dollars for the Pruims.
