Davis Named Village Manager In Richton Park
Marilynne Davis named manager of Richton Park by village trustees in a 5 2 vote and will assume the post September 23. She is noted as possibly the only woman holding a village or city manager position in Illinois, with Sylvia Dennen previously serving in Park Forest. Davis, an University of Illinois public administration graduate, has been assistant manager since June 1977 and will oversee the 1978 80 fiscal year under a contract running to April 20 1980. Trustees Reeves and Petro voted against both Davis appointment and McGill resignation.
