Hazel Crest Sailor Competes in Raid Gauloises

Navy SEAL Petty Officer 1st Class Bruce G. Schliemann of Hazel Crest trains for the Raid Gauloises endurance race in Borneo. He is a member of Team American Pride along with three civilians and two other SEALs stationed at San Diego. The demanding event features 250 to 350 miles of running, kayaking, climbing, caving and river rafting with up to 30 checkpoints and strict deadlines.
