PSC board stalls on RAP 2000 resolution stance

Prairie State College trustees delayed adopting a RAP 2000 support resolution citing unaddressed concerns. President Lightfield pressed for changes focused on youth training and education, while Chairman Hirsch urged securing revisions before approval. Hansen given 200 to 300 year sentence for 1955 Chicago killings

Kenneth Hansen, 62, formerly of Tinley Park, was sentenced to 200 to 300 years for the 1955 slayings of Bobby Peterson and his friends Anton and John Schuessler. He maintained innocence, saying he did not kill the children. The judge noted the brutal impact on Chicago and the cases' notoriety. The jury convicted Hansen after a one hour and 40 minute deliberation. He is eligible for parole in nine years under 1973 guidelines.
