Richton Park Aims Two New Developments With Office Galleria

The village plans a Dec 15 parking lot opening for one office building and a restaurant, with a second building possibly next year. A major unnamed company may tenant the first building as the Board reads an ordinance approving a special use. The restaurant targets May 31 opening. The village hires Mort Lang and Benja min and Lang for financial consulting to issue bonds up to about 2 million to finance the Office Galleria of Richton Park, secured by the development with no village tax obligation in default. The bonds would be tax free and sold at a lower interest rate. Authorities designate Leland Rayson as legal counsel and Borge and Pitt as bond counsel. Additional notes report Richton Park population 9,399 and 3,435 dwellings. Girl Scout cookie dates set for Feb 6-8 and Feb 20-Mar 1. Filing for municipal election opens Jan 19-26. Peter Cioni notes a Lake George shoreline lot deed has been received from Burnside Construction, with village taking over lake maintenance.
