Tinley Park mourns after seven year old dies in closet accident
The Tinley Park community grieves the death of Sarah Marie Stolinski a seven year old from McAuliffe School. Police confirm she accidentally hanged herself with a belt in a closet. her mother found her about 20 minutes later. Paramedics revived her briefly but she died in hospital. School officials and district counselors supported students through the tragedy with an emergency plan and grief resources. The medical examiner listed the cause of death as hanging and an accident.
